Group Photo - well come on, they were getting so friendly sat next to each other, it was inevitable that friendships would be made, email addresses shared. Next thing, you'll find them on twitter tweeting you.

It's ok to wonder why I'm still POAS, but addicts can never justify their actions. The line on the right is fading, Lh (lutenizing hormone) has done it's surge.
Captains Log Date: 14/10/09 CD 13
HELLO! Ding Dong! This, I think, means that 24-48 hours from now there should, theoretically, ovulation
Captains Log Date: 13/10/09 CD 12
A little darker - oh the romance is coming ;)
Captains Log Date: 12/10/09 CD11
Seriously, still nada. Today was the earliest that I would have expected a positive test. But nothing. Huh.
Captains Log Date: 11/10/09 CD10
Look, I know that I'm not being as diligent with getting these photos quickly as I could be (and have sneakily flipped the test around, so now the test line is on the right) but really, it's not like you're missing out on any drama. They're all looking the same.

Not much going on, but just you wait.

HURRAY! The madness has returned, why not pee on a stick? With a average 27 day cycle, and instructions that say the left line should be 'positive' 24-28 hrs before ovulation, and ovulation apparently happening 14 days before the end of your cycle (you keeping up with me here?) I'm predicting a positive ovulation test between days 11 and 13. Join the madness! No prizes for winning the bet!
------
Yup, I'm addicted to testing. Give me a stick, and I'll pee on it. And now, lucky internet, I'm sharing my sticks with you!
CD 6 - OPK (there's a very faint 'test' liine, but so faint you can 't see it here!)
CD 7 - OPK, a slightly bigger picture but it shows that faint testing line on the right. That's the one we're waiting to get as dark or dark than the line on the left.
CD 8 - OPK, and a definite darker line (worth noting that I was sent for HCG test yesterday due to the suspected early miscarriage last week)
CD 9 - OPK, a faint line that you likely can't see, but shows how your LH levels can go up and down a bit before surging (check out http://www.peeonastick.com/opkodyssey.html for a full story)
CD 10 and CD 11 - really seeing the LH sneaking away here (especially from the CD 9 one!) , yes it's a different format of photo, I'm experimenting with all means (scanner, camera, webcam) to find the best way to get the images to you, oh lucky reader!
CD 12 - nada, not even without the grainy photo is there anyting to see.
CD 13 - grainy again, but a faint light appearing on the right. Those textbook girls with textbook cycles would be wanting to see a much darker line here, thinking ovulation was coming tomorrow at day 14. I know better, and generally ovulate later, so hope to see a darker line in a few more days.
CD 14 - just when you think you've got your body figured out, it throws out this! Control line on the left, test line on the right. That's right, it's darker! So, ovulating in the next 24-48 hours, meaning there's hanky panky on the menu tonight...and tomorrow...and the next day...we may be too tired come Valentine's day!
CD 15 - and the peeing continues. these are either a) the same or b) the right (test) line is just every-so-light and let-me-fuck-with-your-tired-eyes lighter. I can't decide, and so will have to continue on the love-in. Sigh.
CD 16 - And, slowly losing the LH. This is where I'd usually stop testing but, in the interest of science (ha! hee hee! oh shit, that would kill my high-school science teacher if the old dinosaur read it!) I'll keep testing just to see what happens.
CD 17 - and fainter still. Can't see the line on the right? If you squint with you left eye, closer your right eye, stand underneath a search light and use a magnifying glass.....well, you'd look like an idiot, but you might see the line too.
CD 18 - hmm, a little stronger line? Oh, you crazy LH, you do like to play mind games with me don't you? You so crazy!
CD19 - See, this is where some sort of definitive advice from a scientific dude would be good. Otherwise, the only guess we can make is that LH really does roller coaster up and down, and here it is on the up.
CD 20 - it's faading, faaaading I tell you. Seriously, I'm running out of comments to make. But, clearly, the LH levels are dropping off at the moment. Just out of interest, very slight cramping yesterday (doubt it's implantation since it would be way too early, more like constipation) and definite achy lower back today (again, not likley implantation, more likely a result of being out of shape).
CD 21 - and up again. I have 6 tests left that should take me to day 27, historically the last day of my cycle. At least, it was until the miscarriage in November/December.
CD 22 - this is making me sea-sick. Down again, who knows what tomorrow will bring?! I know, the suspense is killing you.
CD 23 - ok, now instead of being bored by all the peeing on a stick, I'm a little fascinated by the up and downness of it all.
